Smith Recruiting provides placement services to medium and large corporations and nonprofit organizations on a national basis. As a Senior Executive Recruiter, I interact directly with the hiring manager, assisting with defining the position description, compensation issues and recruitment strategy. The most significant responsibility of the position is recruiting qualified employment candidates, entailing research, cold-calling of prospective candidates, evaluation of candidate experience, background and reference checking, and offer negotiation. My responsibility was to determine if the customer had any legitimate points to make and, if not, to write up an order to have our internal weavers create points out of whole cloth.
